My name is Sam Hillier. I’m a Customer Success Architect at Microsoft partner ANS Group. I’ve been working in the M365 space since 2016, and first started working with Power Platform in 2017. Through the years, I’ve had a few different roles, focused on varying aspects of Power Platform, from building apps & flows, administering & enabling Power Platform in a large organisation, and working with customers to define and develop their strategy and vision for Power Platform & D365. Between 2017 and 2024 I worked in house or ‘client side’. First off for a UK based construction company, where I spent 3 years, and then 4 years at the worlds largest building society and then in 2024 I made the switch to partner side, where I joined ANS.
In 2023, I started attending user groups & attended my first conference and though I’ve consumed people’s content for years, this really exposed me to a new-found level of learning and in many ways, enjoyment of the job. In December 2024, I took my first steps of contributing to the community, having spoke for the first time at the National event for the UK Dynamics 365 & Power Platform User Groups.
On a personal level – I have many, many hobbies…I’m very much into music, having played guitar since teens and piano as an adult. I’m also a sports fan, primarily football, golf and F1 and In 2024 I took up running – with a Marathon planned in April 2025.
